About the Association
The Association of Energy Service Providers of the Czech Republic (APES ČR) is a association founded in October 2010 by the companies AB Facility, ENESA, Siemens, the Center for Energy Savings, SEVEn – The Energy Efficiency Center, Dalkia Česká republika, MARTIA, and ENVIROS. The association is registered under file number L 65269 with the Municipal Court in Prague. As of April 2025, the association brought together 35 member companies.

Energy Services – Definition
Under Act No. 406/2000 Coll. on Energy Management, the term “energy services” has a clearly defined meaning: it refers to all activities aimed at achieving guaranteed reductions in energy consumption, including through the installation of energy-efficient technologies, i.e. verifiable and measurable improvements in energy efficiency. Worldwide, this type of activity is known as Energy Performance Contracting (EPC).
